So, today’s post is one of those posts that make me glad I do this blog anonymously. Not that women shouldn’t talk openly about these things – it is just that I am not one of those women. So, without further ado, let’s discuss the latest and greatest non-surgical treatment for vaginal rejuvenation. After my neighbor raved about ThermiVa for days, I had to call and see if the doctors and staff RejuvaYou would sit down and tell me more about it than “Oh my god it is the greatest thing that I have ever done!”
Before I go much further, RejuvaYou Medical Spas is not a typical MediSpa. Did you know most medi-spas do not have medical doctors that are knowledgeable about the laser treatments, and majority of the doctors are nowhere near the treatment facility? Ummm, that hardly seems safe, but apparently is completely legal. But Dr. Shieh is onsite at RejuvaYou and is actively involved in every procedure. As opposed to some places that just pump your face with botox and fillers, they believe that it is important to help people improve not only their physical appearance, but also their health, and youthfulness. All the people that work there are so nice and extremely knowledgeable.
Enough about them – on to ThermiVa.
RejuvaYou’s ThermiVa treatment is a non-surgical option showing great promise to restore and renew vaginal tissue through radiofrequency. The radiofrequency energy stimulates the release of neuropeptides and other growth factors that improve blood flow which results in improved moisture and lubrication. This also improves function of the sensory nerves, resulting in increased sensitivity and potential for orgasms. (This was something my neighbor raved about it – the orgasms. Oh, the orgasms) ThermiVa’s radiofrequency energy also directly causes tightening of collagen at the treatment areas. This procedure is the ONLY one of its kind that is actually beneficial for the woman – all of the other surgical options (labiaplasty and vaginoplasty) may make things for fun for the man, but not-so-much for women. That hardly seems fair. Not to mention, these surgeries cost from $10-$15k and require recovery time.
So, this treatment is painless during and after. There is no downtime. It increases orgasms (along with eliminating incontinence for those ladies that pee when they sneeze, and/or vaginal dryness as a result of childbirth or a change in hormone status) and can make it prettier. Who doesn’t want a pretty vajayjay and amazing orgasms? If you want more information, call Dr. Shieh’s office for a free consultation.

Bottom line: It isn’t the cheapest procedure ever, but can you really put a price on amazing sex? I don’t think so.
